How do I get "Loading new language" off the screen when I hit the nav button. I left the cd in for an hour while driving and it never goes away!! Help. thanks carl

hi Carl,

have you tried to eject the CD and put the CD back?

eject the NAV CD with ignition off, then ignition on, hit the NAV button, PCM will tell you to Insert CD or something, insert the CD, PCM should say Software update or Initialize

good luck!

cheers,

Tony

Also, there are PCM software updates that you may need. Check with your dealer and ask them if TSB 11/02 9110 and TSB 10/02 9112 need to be performed. Both are software updates.

hey Loren,

what is the actual version for PCM I (16-bit)?

how can I activate to see the version, NAV-button + Climate-button?

cheers,

Tony

I am not sure for PCM I. The dealer PST2 update CDs come almost one per month and somtimes they include small changes to older systems without any explaination (kind of like Microsoft eh?).

I used the tsb and found out I have version 3.0 and of course the dealer had them send me the disks that say2002-1 which is for 2.o . I called navtec and they said that i should have2003-1. there sending them overnight I think that will take care of the problem. Ill report back after i receive them . Thanks for all the help, to bad the people that sell this stuff don't know what there selling. carl
