Since I bought my 99 C2 a few months ago, I always feel this clutch is too heavy and stiff. It has 59500 miles right now and I think the clutch is still original. I test drive a 01 C2 today and I found out the clutch is a little lighter. Could anyone tell me are there any lighter clutch I can replcae it for. Or does 01 Porsce made a ligther and easier clutch. I also have a 2000 Corvette and that clutch is much lighter and more user friendly. I just don't know my clutch is normal or it is about the time to replace a new one!

Hello!

I also had a very stiff clutch on my 2001 TT, it was the slave cylinder for the clutch that had some problem so after they changed that it is so much lighter then it used to be.

Likely the slave, could be as simple as air in the line (try bleeding the line). Of course you could go with an upgrade..sachs stage 2 with LWFW.
