Just wondering....I have a DTC code that my OBD II reader has spit out (P0453)....however when I go into the diagnosis section of the work manual the DTC's all have numbers such as 34, 35, 36, etc etc etc.... Does anyone know how I get from my P0453 to the proper code in the manual??

Thanks.

Jeff.

Loren, you're a genius!

Exactly what I was looking for

Not sure if you can shed some light on this but I went into the diagnosis section of the shop manual for code 99 and it isnt in there....they show a diagnosis for faults 98 and 100 but seem to have left 99 out. I was hoping this was gonna be my magic bullet but it seems that the quest moves on....Any ideas why its not there or am I missing something easy here??

Those fault code lists come from the OBD II manual not the shop manual.

99 Tank pressure sensor P0450 P0452 P0453 1/–

P0450 Signal implausible – Pressure sensor faulty

P0452 Below lower limit – Short circuit to ground

P0453 Above upper limit – Short circuit to B+
