I decided to bite the bullet and do some upgrades. Among those are a B&M shortshifter, Evo Shiftlink, CF shifter, CF handbrake, and CF scuff plates/door sills. I have found a DIY for the B&M and the shiftknob should not be a problem.

Does anybody know of a DIY for the Shiftlink and for swapping out the handbrake and door sills?

TIA

We have filmed all that except for the door sill and EVO metal cable connector.

I have asked on various boards how to install the metal cable connector so that the shift cable is properly adjusted. Got no response.

I would remove the oem black plastic connector then put on the metal connector. Then put on the locking bridge tool to center the shift lever. Insert the end of the cable into the metal connector. I think it is then locked in with a set screw.

I would then do the B&M install following the Porsche instructions as the metal cable connector is now in the oem position. Jeff

Thanks for the advice Jeff. Thats probably a good way to do it... especialy considering that the bridge tool will not fit with the B&M. Now to find the bridge tool... is there a part #?
