Recommended Posts

Loren, can you please check the part no. and list price for the top plate for the right front suspension C2 top mount plate for me , I happen to break one of the screw while I torque it...

it is the plate that goes to the top of the suspension with 3 screws going over the frame holding the suspension in place to the car...

post-2-1147739959_thumb.jpg

Porsche has superseded the orignal part number 996.343.018.04 with part number 997.343.018.00

997.343.018.00 Shock Support Mount -- MSRP $78.73 (as of May 2006)

yes correct., item 3....

............. so.. basically it will be the same with 997 and 996 part ?

Yes. Porsche normally says if superseded parts should be replaced in pairs (both sides). There is no note here - so either part number should work.

I am not sure when this part changed to the 997 number so dealers may still have 996 numbered parts in stock.
