Loren or anyone else. Before I lift up the front to look at how the lower front spoiler lip is attached- Is it easy to remove? It is time for a repaint because it got the %^$^ knocked out of it on a massive dip. Is it held in by rivits or bolts?

Thanks in advance

There are 11 plastic rivets (999 507 427 40) that you kind need to unscrew and pry out (at the same time). You may have to jack up the front just to get enough room to work though.

Chad you need to go Gangster style into driveways!!! I just removed Justin's yesterday.. Im ordering two of them.. let me know if you need one, I'll add it the order.. I'll call you tomorrow with some news on the 69!!

Thanks Kevin. Let me remove mine to see if I will need a new one. Can you reuse those plastic rivits or do i need to order more? It was more of verticle hit on that spoiler lip and not a drag or rub. I was driving fast down an alley (kinda gangsta when you think about it) Then saw a HUGE dip, hit the brakes, the lip went crunch and flaked the paint all over on the passenger side of the lip. Sniff...Sniff..

Moral of the story: Never drive fast down alley's like in the movies.

Yea you can reuse the rivits, the platic screws will strip on top when pulling them out, just use needle nose vice scrips.. Then the pop right back in.. Thanks for the tip in the allies :)
