when I lower my top, the left side seems to be exceptionally loose. it lags behind, and I have to help it along to keep it even! is this adjustable? Is it somthing I can do? or is this better left to a top shop. by the way it's a 98

Sounds like your left side cable is loose, check your cable and replace it (cheap)

found the problem today!!!! :clapping:

it was the ball that the Left side arm snaps into. it apparently worked it's way loose, and fell out. a quick trip to the auto parts store for am 8mm x 1.25 picth nut and some locktite, and it works like new

However..... I noticed that since this happened, the top developed a leak!! I'm hoping these two are related! any input?
