Is there a way to reset or reboot the computer on a '99 Boxster ? I've got a Volvo that had some weird electrical issues and the computer can be reset by turning the key in door 2 times to the right and then 2 times to the left. Is there any built-in reset procedures on a Boxster? :lightbulb:

Some of the problems I am having all of the sudden is that the remote key lock wont work, but the trunk works fine (and I can sometimes open/lock the doors if I push both the trunk and door lock at the same time  ), flashing temp light, airbag light came on. All these issues pretty much started at the same time, and MAY be the result of eeprom computer issues or similar. :cursing:

Any help us mucho appreciated!

If you're going to unplug the battery don't close your front hood while you are waiting, you won't be able to open your front hood again unless you put a positive battery to the little retractable terminal and the negative on a part of the chassis, the door latch thing is a good place.
