Location Of emergency Bonnet Release for 996

I'm Currently sat with my 996 on the drive with the battery disconnected and the bonnet shut (Don't Ask).

I'm therefore in need of assistance in locating the emergency release cable. I've search previous postings and left a little confused as to where to locate the cable.

I have a UK RHD car therefore is the cable on the drivers side (RH) or on the passenger (LH) ? Is it best take the respective wheel off or can it be done by just pulling back the wheel lining with the wheel in place ?

Just pull the wheel lining back or fish for it from the bottom side.

Which side of the car should i look for it, bearing in mind it's a RHD UK car ?

Sorry, I have no idea. US/Canada cars are on the right side. Maybe one of the UK guys here can tell you.

Passenger side on a RHD.

I can concur with this - mine was tucked in way behind the wheel well - you'd have to take the lower arch liner out to get to it.
