Like the majority of American drivers, most of my driving time in my Cayenne is done solo. Therefore, the driver's mat gets all the wear and looks like crap, while the remaining three look almost new. They are the stock Porsche Cayenne mats for my grey interior, which I wish had a heel reinforcement under the accelerator pedal.

I've inquired with a couple custom mat makers on eBay (example http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PORSCHE-Flo...spagenameZWDVW) to see if they'd supply a single mat rather than a set, and will report on their response.

I wonder if any other owners have satisfied this need in any other way -- I don't know, will Porsche sell a single mat or only sets?

TIA, suggestions welcome.

I solved this in my allroad by getting the thick rubber all season mats, my heal can't wear through those and they're super easy to clean

you could get a metal mat guard that's used for that exact problem too, if you get metal pedals it looks pretty good and you heal won't wear through aluminum :)

FYI, GG Bailey will make a mat for the drivers side only: http://www.ggbailey.com/ They come with the grommet holes to match our vehicle's mat mounting method.

They have a carpet sample kit for $4.00 shipping and give you a coupon code for free shipping on a subsequent order. Their Light Grey is a dead ringer for our Cayenne grey carpeting.

I ended up ordering a personalized front pair after all, and couldn't resist getting a set of their Oriental Carpet mats for the wife's new Infiniti. What can I say?

The Porsche rubber mats are an excellent choice, virtually indestructable and easy to clean.

The coco mats are a nice option, too. I use these in my MB, for a little color. They offer more conventional color selections too.
