When I stop my top in the half way position I noticed these tabs on both sides of the track they can slide forwards and backwards.

any idea what these are used for?

I can send a picture if needed.

I need to see a picture to be sure what part you are talking about. I though it was the height adjustment wedge in my picture but it is not near the slide for the clamshell. Jeff

That is it!!!, the picture you have is what i am talking about, What does that do and can I check to make sure it is adjusted right?

I use it to adjust the height of the clamshell/metal tonneau cover to match the height of the fender. It is a wedge that slides back and forth for different heights. There are 2 other ways to adjust the height of the clamshell so do not play with it unless you have to. Jeff
