Does anyone know or have experience adding heated seats to their car. I am thinking about adding heated sport seats to my 01 C2 Cab that does not have heated seats. I thought Loren would see it here quicker.

A member here wrote up a detailed DIY here.

Loren - sorry I do not think I was clear, but I have an opportunity to buy heated sport seats and was wondering what other parts I would need from Porsche to make it work. I know I need dash switches, but what about the wiring and stuff.

911porschefan,

Take the time to read the link that Loren has posted. I have been researching this project and you will see that it has a complete list of parts that you need to complete the install of your new heated seats. Since you already have the seats you can eliminate the foam cushion heated parts from your list. You will need to create the wiring harnesses that will connect your seats to the switches you will install on the console. That is all described in the link. There is also come debate over whether some Porsches come prewired with the harness already installed to the point under the seat. If you do a search on heated seats you can see some of this debate. Mine did not and I will need to complete the full DIY project. Good luck.
