Today I had my AVIC-N3 unit with iPod and XM traffic navigation install from local dealer.

For working with Boss amp, I had to use PAC-OEM2 converter, which is recommanded by crutchfield and Al & Ed Autosound.

As far as sound quality may improved over stock stereo, but can't really tell. I've use PAC-OEM2 converter to integrate with stock/Boss amp and speakers. Only thing pulled out from stock audio is head unit.

AVIC-3 with iPod, and XM NavTraffic is all seperate units. AVIC-N3 main controller is installed under passenger's seat, iPod unit is installed behind GT-3 console delete box, XM NavTraffic in behind passenger's leg wall/carpet area. I will post more photos from installation and actual video/sound if I can.

How about your comments on the sound quality vs original and your opinion on the gps?
