Someone backed into my car Monday. Going to replace the bumper with an AeroKit II / GT3 style cover. Are there any additional parts i will need (i.e. to mate my radiator inlets with the openings on the bumper)? This is going on a '99 box. Thanks

I don't believe the aerokit II will fit your car. If its the same bumper as for the 996 it is for the facelifted 02 and on 996s. You need the Aerkit I bumber for 99-01 996s

i think there's an actual Boxster aerokit II bumper that looks similar to the GT3, but has a 986 part number (986-505-980-00-g2x). just trying to figure out what else (if anything) i'll need. thanks.

986.505.980.00.GX2 Bumper cover is all you need... or

986.505.980.01.GX2 Bumper cover for Boxster S (has the center radiator opening).

Not true. I just did this on my '98 and there are two additional brackets that go on the lower corners by the front wheel, along w/ a few nut clips and screws. It's in the hardware list in the TSB's section for Aerokit II.
