Okay, I was lucky to find a 996 turbo owner who didn't need the Porsche child seat and got it for a decent price. My question (did search first) is, how do I use the tether strap? On my other cars the tether attaches to an anchor behind the seat. My 2002 C4S doesn't seem to have one. It looks like it would have one behind the subwoofer for the stock Bose system and even has cuts in the carpeting, but I have not been able to find the anchors. Please help me out.

Here are some pics of the carpet cut out and anchor underneath. The carpet should be pre-cut, but there are 3 (if I remember right) small spots that you'll have to cut through - one per side. Hope this helps.

By the way, the car seat will fit much better if you remove the bottom and back pads from your car.
