02-03 C2 Purchase

I am looking at an 02-03 c2 coupe and see no real difference except the year, both are equipted the same and same miles, also both are Porche certified, the 02 is 5K less in $ It seems a no brainer to go with the 02 Any feedback is appreciated

Will you get an extra year of warranty with the 03? I would just check to see when they are up. If you got an extra 12 or 18 months it may bring them closer to the same price, in which case resale should also be taken into consideration.

03 has an in dash cd player where as 02 has a cassette. 03+ use a optical fibre system for stereo which makes upgrades and ipod integration nearly impossible without re-wiring the stereo.

Aside from the stereo, I don't think there is much difference but you'll get more remaining warranty with 03.

I'd go with the 02 since you've got antoher 2 yrs of certified warranty. You should also investigate to see if any RMS history.
