Have your mechanic follow the 996 Porsche short shift instructions and he will not have to disturb the cable connector settings.

Tool Pants, are these Porsche instructions available to the public? Are they posted anywhere? I'm about to do the SSK myself and was planning on following B&Ms directions. Is there a better method?

thanks!

Andy

The Porsche instructions and other TSBs are available to contributing members and they are on this site.

I only know of 2 ways to put in a B&M. The B&M way and the Porsche way. Neither method is superior.
