I've got my airhorn kit and I'm going to do it this weekend, but I'm wondering about the relays

since I'll be disconnecting and replacing the stock horn and tapping the existing wires, can I just tap the existing wiring and use the relay that's already set up for that circuit?

thanks,

Tom

huh, i never noticed ToolPants mentioned the relay, now I feel stupid for asking

I only noticed because I am considering this for a spring upgrade(moving to Boston where drivers are..um..erratic).

After your install, please make a post giving your impression of loudness and delay.

oops, I never replied here :) I ended up replying in this thread http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=5747

but anyway, been like... 5 months? it's still great, no delay at all, plenty loud and installation was a breeze except for the bumper removal because the horns ended up with are nearly direct replacements for the stock ones Hella Super Compact Trumpet Horns I think they're called, they're good enough that I'm thinking about doing the same to my Audi
