Hello all,

This is my first post here but I've been reading and learning for for the past several months. I bought an 01 TT last fall and I've been trying to switch to an after market nav setup but I've run into a road block.

My goal was to put a double din nav and the single pivoting cup holder in the upper console. to do this I would need to get rid of my old console components and replace them with the ones designed for the pivoting cup holder. The dealer says that those parts are only for 02 and newer TT's. Did the dash change between 01 and 02? Does anyone know if this is a case of the dealer not knowing what's up??? If these parts can be made to fit without to much trouble than I would stll like make the change but if there is no simple way to make it work than I gues I'll have to do something else...

The parts that I want to put in my 01 TT are:

subframe: 99655223111

Nozzle: 99655226300

Bezzle: 99655223306

Thanks in advance for any advice on this matter and thanks to all the contributors of this forum for all the DIY's and general info that I use constantly.

Matt
