Well decided to fit some door speakers, DONT DO IT. :cursing:

My 2000 boxster hasnt got the wires for the door speaker, what a :censored: job to get the cable through to the doors.

Any way it appears you have to go through the multi way connector.

Does anybody have the part numbers for the pins and sockets in the connector?.

Cheers

Nick

P.S. Sorry if it has been asked before

I took that connector apart so long ago I barely remember what the pins look like.

There are a lot of pins listed and I cannot figure out which are the correct ones so I would be guessing if I gave you part numbers.

I suggest you go to your parts department and see if they have a bin with all the different pins and see if you can match them.

You should also talk to the service department. The early Boxster had problems with those pins corroding and if they have replaced them before then the service dept will know what you need. Porsche issued a bulletin on replacing the pins. But I only see one pin listed, 999 652 571 22. The problem I have is I am not sure this is the correct pin you can use for a speaker, and there is no listing for a male and female pin. If you figure out the part numbers then let us know.
