IMHO that is a good price... providing the 3rd party (which I am pretty sure is not Porsche) is still in business for the full 4 years. A;so, rad the details and make sure more than just major failures are covered and what the deductable is.

well, if someone wants to buy it for a reasonable price I'm thinking of upgrading to a GT3 or Turbo :drive:

Geez Loren...if this keeps up we'll be the only ones left with NA 996s 'cause I ain't upgradin' in my lifetime. :(

Don,

With all the mods that you've done to your car there's no "upgrading" left!! You're my hero, because of you and others I've been bitten by the mod bug. It's highly contagious.

Well.... I drove Mike's (mds) GT3 a few days ago and I'll have to admit I am tempted. But... I am also tempted to buy a Cupcar... so chances are I'll wait until I feel strongly enough to pull the trigger on one or the other.

I got a 6 yr, 72K mile third party warranty when I bought my 99 C4 from the dealer for 2500, 1600 for 2 years doesn't seem like a good value to me.
