Hi,

I just installed my retrofit kit today,

Pretty easy, but I can't find a good place for the module, the drawing is so small on the TSB that i can't see exactly where they put it, does some one have a picture?

Also I wanted to test the functionnality, and only connected 1 side, but I can't see any difference between the connected headlight and the other one.

How can I be sure I functionning OK?

thanks

Pretty sure all the module does is raise the lo-beam up by 3 degrees when you activate the hi-beams.

I have pictures but they are on a computer which is being fixed.

On a LHD car it is mounted under the carpet near the cd changer. Where it is mounted is not important. The reason we put it there is because there is space for the control unit so that the carpet is flush. That is also the location when it is a factory option.

The control unit has 3 wires to hook up. Then there are 2 looms from the control unit that run to the back of each headlight. The control unit permits the low xenon beam to rotate up a few degrees to fill in the high halogen beam. But as Gundo said, you need to select the high beams to see the rotation.

Thx TP,

Wel I know for the 3 wires, I followed the TSB, and it's quite easy, but can't see any change in the low beam when I activate the Hi beam!

- 1BK/RD wire to hook up tu the BK/YE wire of the right windschield washer jet

- 1 White wire to hook up with the white wire from the headlights

- 1 brown wire to the chassi!

the 1 plus in each Unit!

TP, could you tell me what the BK/YE wire is supposed to give? Constant 12? or ACC switched?

And the white wire is the one of the Hi Beam I presume?

So I can check with a multimeter!

thx

See post #3.

Tool Pants - is there another way to order your DVD set without using paypal? I am going to replace the headlights on my 99 C2 with Litronics and add a three spoke steering wheel. Thanks. Jeff
