i already remove the airbag strip under the passenger side airbag cover, I would like to find out how to remove the cover, is there any screw i need to take out, or I just have to use some force to pull it out of its way. I try to pull it out, but there is something at the back stopping me from pulling it out, what step am I missing?

Please advice

Thanks

I finally figure it out how to take it out. Even though I have the Porsche techical manual with me, I can't understand what that mean, if there are people out there having the same problem as me, can't open the passenger airbag cover, here is the steps:

First of all, disconnect the battery.

Under the dash on the passenger seat side, there is a black foam sheet that cover the bottom of the dash. Remove the two plastic screw and take the foam cover off. After you took off the foam cover, take a look at the inside, you will find a black plastic air vent tube (it is the middle section of the right side air vent system), took that section out. After you took the plactic tube out, take a look deep inside, you should able to see the bottom of the airbag unit, you should also see 3 screws, remove it all (2 extremely long and 1 short, they can be remove by a 10mm socket). Once you have removed all 3 screw, you can now remove the passanger side airbag cover off the dash and then discconect the cable connector.

Note: After you took out the unit, the passanger side airbag cover panel is still held together with the airbag unit, in order to seperate the cover panel with the airbag unit, you have to remove a couple of more screws.

Thank you so much for the info. I am installing LCD screens in that space and I couldn't figure out how to remove the darn cover.

Do you know how much it costs for a replacement cover?
