Does anyone know if these aftermarket exhausts are legal for UK road use. The firm says they are based on original Porsche parts - obviously modified and they are around 105dB.

Anyone got any experience of them? They cost around £250 UKP delivered so not a fortune and certainly less than most other options.

Not sure if they are legal in the UK, but you can have these exact mods done by a good local exhaust shop on your own mufflers for probably less than 250 quid.

Print off the image, take it to your local exhaust experts, ask them how much to add a tube as shown, ask them to weld the finished product as perfectly as possible and see what the price is.

Techart make two versions of their Sport exhausts one of which is EU legal. I noticed that at idle and city speeds is not loud just different from std. From thereon it gets very "sporty".

Also Porsche fit their systems with an on/off switch for the same reason.
