CDR220 stays on

Just purchased a 99' C2 came with CDR220 but when I turn off the engine, remove the key and lock doors the radio stays on....have to manually turn on and off everytime....any ideas or suggestions!

Oh yeah! CD player worked okay for few weeks now it works but wont eject the CD...

Help....

The radio should go off within a few seconds of removing the key.

Hmm... I wonder if the previous owner had a third party radio/cd player and just threw original one back in for the sale. I would wonder if the wiring harness has been spliced? I think I would get a hold of some Becker radio removal keys and have a look. Don't buy your Becker keys on eBay they are asking $10 (or more) for something Becker sells for $1.68.

Thanks Loren...

Went to an authorized Becker dealer and had the radio replaced...Harness was fine...It was all the radio...this new one turns off after a few second just like you said it should and I have CDs again...Thanks Again!
