I assembled 5 point harnesses to my Boxster S driver seat yesterday by taken the seat out of the car and plug off the main connector of the electronic box.

Reconnected the connector again and locked the original belt into the old belt buckle (so that the belt sign doesn't show up all the time).

But now my "airbag failure" sign shows up in the dashboard.

Who has a clue of that could be, I had the seats out before and everything worked fine. Just resetting the electronics?

Thanks for help and advice - Michael Eblenkamp

If you left the key in the ignition while you disconnected everything, it's time for a trip to the dealer to get them to turn the light off. No big deal.

Michael- how are you attaching the harness? I'm interested in this but haven't figured out what brackets etc to use. Also how are you running the sub belt?

Any info appreciated

Brad
