Just finished the installation of the my new FabSpeed exhaust and headers system on my 99 996 C2. After wrestling with a couple of broken bolts :censored: , I had to have a local garage finish it up for me. It sounds great, and I can feel a huge diff in power, much smoother going thru the gears. I think I'm going to dump my cats and go with Fab Speeds straight pipes next. I have a friend who can fix the wiring so the engine check light doesn't come on when you take off the catalytic converters.

huge diff in power? Is this the traditional butt dyno or have you actually tested it on real equipment. Trust me, there is not a major delta in performance on the car when you install this setup. I'd be interested to see your before and after dyno sheets. My guess is no more than about 10-15hp total and that is at the top end of the RPM range and for low end, probably sub 10hp.

Not knocking you mod, beautiful setup and great exhaust note, but not "huge" difference in hp.

I did it about a month ago, and the Schnell cold air intake. Not sure if more HP, but the throttle response did change. Significant enough that I spun out a couple of times at the track, didn't have the new timing right.
