I have a '04 Cayenne Turbo and I'm scheduled to have Oliver at Speedtuning flash my ECU with this software on 10/15. I was wondering if anyone else here has used this program which, according to their website raises hp level from 450 to 520 and torque from 620 to 740. I realize that the Cayenne Turbo makes 460 ft. lbs. torque so where are they getting their torque figures? I hope that there is a 120 ft. lb gain in torque which is entirely possible with a twin turbo V8 because the program includes raising the boost pressure on the turbos from 8.7 psi to 1.1 bar or 16 psi. Also included is raised timing, additional fuel and the removal of the Speed Limiter for $599! I also have an SL 55 and I've heard from guys on the Mercedes Forums that this ECU on the SL 55 is awesome so I'm going to try my luck on the Cayenne first. I'll post my findings tomorrow when I get back from the transformation. The link for the site is http://www.Speedtuningusa.com. You will be able to view the various dyno charts from there. Peace.

Correction... After speaking to Oliver the Torque is measured in Nm which is .738 to 1 Foot Lb. of Torque which means that the 620 Nm stock is 457 Tq and is raised to 740 Nm which equates to 546 Tq. A 89 ft. lb. increase!

After getting the ECU upgrade I must say that the Cayenne Turbo definitely picked up big power... Is it the 70 HP and 90 ft. lb tq they claim? Feels to me like it's **** close! The factory boost gauge now lies over in the right hand corner upon acceleration and 100 mph is seen on the speedo on the regular now... Money well spent. Next up is the removal of the 2 resonators...

Awesome! Got to love how easy it is to pick up power on turbo cars with the DME reflash. 599 bucks for that is a steal.

So what is entailed in the install?

Is it a flash program? does it replace the chip? or is it a piggy back system?

Being in Sacramento, I can't very well take the turbo out to Maryland for the install.
