Loren I have now information that someone has had this installed as well and a drive by wire software revision, Northern CA Dealer.

Are you aware of what these updates are for ? has there been any new TP's for the cayenne ?

Thanks

Mike

p.s. my number plate adapted just arrived, thanks for the part #'s

The last TSBs I have for Cayenne are dated Sept 19, 2003. So there are likely some on the way. There was a revision in March that was temporary fix so this final fix was expected. These fixes actually come as PST2 software updates -- so only a dealer (or shop that has a subscription) can install these. The PST2 holds all the master programs for DME, Instrument Cluster, PCM, etc.

I checked with the techs at my dealer, others have checked around theirs, no information forthcoming. I have emailed Atlanta to see if anyone is awake.

If you see anything please post it

Thanks

Mike

Loren, I saw a Tech /Bulletin - Group 9 6-02 (if that number means anything.)

This refers to the OS 3.0 for PCMII. The updater is special order from Germany.

My dealer has a $150K 911 special order "something" which came with 3.0 Navtech Data Disks and version 2.0 PCMII so they are really embarrassed right now.

I was asked to obtain the latest data disks from Navtech and they have ordered the flash update disk.

Navtech reps are instructed to say there is no update for the Cayenne ( the girl told me on the phone), when you tell them that Porsche are updating your system they then say "oh OK its $200 + shipping, be there in 3 days".

If you can locate that document I would love to publish on the other boards. Its got a matrix 3/4 the way down with software applicability.
