The nominal values for the nominal heights of the level sensors are stored in the control unit. The actual values of the respective axle heights, front left, front right, rear left, rear right, have to be measured manually and then entered with the Porsche System Tester. The actual values are to be measured on the two axle supports (front axle, rear axle), both on the right and left.
Do you know the measuring points? If not I will post that too.

Measuring point front axle

The distance (middle of wheel) between the road (wheel contact area measuring platform) and the measuring point A on the axle support is measured.

Rear axle measuring point

The distance (middle of wheel) between the road (wheel contact area measuring platform) and the measuring point A on the axle support is measured.

If the vehicle is a Cayenne with air suspension, it must be adjusted to normal level. Adjust from the low level to the normal level for the vehicle. The vehicle may be aligned and adjusted in this position only.

If the control module or one of the level sensors was replaced, calibration must be carried out with the Porsche System Tester.

hello this is my first time on here ,, my cayenne 06 has the same problem , it was put on a lift without disabling the air suspension , can anyone help please. now p1400 code ,,

Fault code 1400 - Control position not adjustable

Possible cause of fault:

- Control position not adjustable, vehicle too low or too high (no display)

1. Check mechanical and pneumatic components.

2. Check to see if other faults are recorded (e.g. 0774, 0775, 0776, 1780).

3. Re-calibrate level control module.

4. Replace level control module.
