Aftermarket Seat Heaters w/ Stock Switch?

Recommended Posts

I've been searching for weeks on this one and can't seem to find an answer. Can anyone help?

I'm looking to install aftermarket seat heaters into my 2000 C2 cab and would love to find a solution that would allow me to utilize the stock seat heater switches. Logic tells me that this may be difficult without using the stock parts, but I've seen a few posts here and on other boards that leave me with a glimmer of hope. I haven't bought the seat heaters yet, but will more than likely go with either a Check Corp. solution or the RAME kit that some have utliized for thier GT3 seats. Either kit contains a harness that connects to a switch that has an OFF, Low, and High setting (Off in middle, low when switched to the bottom, high when depressed on the top). Anybody have any futher info or suggestions on making this connection a reality?

Thanks in advance!

Nick
