On Porsche manuals

Guys, the dealer I bought the car from now tells me that he does not have the original 2000 manual for my Carrera Cabrio :censored: even though he promised me one when I bought the car off his lot. He said he found a 1999 manual he can send me and that it is the same manual. Is this true?

The price is steep, but a dismantler in California routinely sells complete sets of books (owner's manual, radio manual, service info, leather folders, etc) on Ebay for various year models.

Usually runs about $175.

The last owners manual I ordered through Sunset Porsche (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost) was $18.

Ditto - they range from 18 to 38 at the dealer.

When I took delivery of my 2000 C4 it was also missing a manual. The dealer got me one from Porsche Canada, no charge. The dealer should provide the correct manual.
