Bluetooth Install Mute Wire?

i am carrying this forward from another thread about motorolla hf850/1000 install. i have done car tele. kit installations before...and it is easy......the BIG question is where to connect the MUTE wire on the most system (post 2002). this mutes the radio when a call is made and or received....does anyone know which wire this is on the back of the radio. thanks

Right behind the center console is the factory telephone connector which has 4 wires ( B+, Ground, Ignition and Radio Mute). You can also connect the speaker output of the HF-850 (I preferred the IHF-1000) to pin 13 and 14 of the main plug on the back of your CR220 or CDR220. This will let the audio route through the radio and into either the left or right front speaker. You will also need to program your radio to have TELEPHONE in the on mode.

my car is 2003. i think it is cdr-23...i want to install hf-1000. thanks for replies...

In the RADIO Owner's Manual you'll find the wire diagram of your radio and I believe the TELEPHONE audio input is in the same location (pin 13 and 14) pin 13 being the + and the pin 14 being the - . The power connector should also be behind the center console. Just pull out the left side panel of the console and you will see that connector.
