The battery on my 2002 carrera recently went dead so i charged the battery and started the car everything was normal, but when i went to move the driver seat none of the controls would work. I checked the fuse and it was fine any ideas on why it would do this? Thanks

I do not remember if there is a separate fuse for each seat. If so swap the fuses just to be sure that the fuse is good.

The only other thing that I can think of would be to disconnect the battery for a minute, hook it back up and see if that resets anything.

There are separate fuses but he said that he checked the fuse. Unless he checked the wrong fuse, that's not the problem.

Can you hear the motor straining?

I swapped the fuses with no luck, and i cant hear the motor moving at all it doesnt do anything. I will try to unplug the battery. thanks for the replies keep them coming

I had my 2004 C2's passenger side seat stop working after getting the carpets steam cleaned. Individual seats have individual fuses, my fuse was ok. However, the steam clean killed one of the seat motors which was replaced, luckily under warranty.
