So I just picked up my new 955 and only got 2 keys. Both are Masters (swithcblade remotes). My 996 came with a non-remote valet key as well. Should I have received more key(s)???

I was wondering how much to order a valet ket? It good to have complete set like other cars or even p-cars. Anyone know?

Good idea. Here's a related question:

if there IS a valet key option, does it unlock the glovebox?

There are times when I'd like to lock away a few items and have them not accessible to the valet, as is the case with almost every other car.

A valet key shouldn't able to unlock a glovebox or trunk for any car. I think this is a valet key for.

Well, I would think so, too, - but:

a) one would also expect such a key to be included as standard equipment in a $100k vehicle; and

B) there are enough other "unusual" features on these trucks that a "flat" key (as I've seen some folks refer to their pre-2005 third keys) that opens everything, but just doesn't have a remote fob, would seem like a very realistic possibility.

Hmm, i got two master keys only. I would like a valet key also, like gchu mentioned i wonder if we can order one & how much a valet key would be?

I took delivery of my 2005 Cayenne S in August too and only got 2 master keys. No valet key.

I took delivery of my Cayenne S on September last year... only 2 master keys... I just called Porsche today and they said it is the dealer's option to decide whether to give out valet key... I think his claim is lame....

Is such a valet key available for MY 2005 and after? Has anyone purchased or obtained a valet key for after sale?
