If I have the memory seats, and I need to replace just the leather on them, could I buy a set of manual seats on ebay and just take the leather off and swap it out with mine?

Just a thought,

Thanks!

I would think that bringing the seats in to a shop that does leather reconditioning would be much cheaper.

You think? We're talking some serious breakdown of the leather where the seatbelt goes. Through down to the webbing. Lots of cracking on the rest of the leather.

I was considering a leather kit, but some here have dissuaded me due to difficulty of fit.

I would just like to have nice, black leather seats is all!

Thanks again!

They'll have to replace the leather section which will be different in wear mark thans the rest of teh seat. You can either buy an old set to swap leather or have the shop recover the whole seat. You may also consider sport seats or adding heat to yours while the seat is taken apart.

I think that a leather expert would be able to tell you if they can do it. In general, I think they have "ways" to recondition even worn leather. It's worth asking.
