Loren, I'm doing my tequipment roll bar this week, I have a '03 C4S. PWR seats/memory/heated. Do I have to disconnect the battery, or just turn the key off when I take the seats out?

Secondly, if I do disconnect the battery, do I have to go to the dealer to reset they radio, they told me my year radio doesn't really have a code?

TIA

Chris

You do not have to disconnect the battery just make sure the key is not in the ignition. However whenever I mess with any electricals I always disconnect the negative lead just to play it safe.

If your radio needs a code you should have been given the code when you bought the car. I know 2004's do not need a code, not sure about 2003.

Keep the key out of the ignition. Even with the car off the airbags are active when the key is in. To be safe I would disconnect the battery.

If your radio is a CDR-23 then the code is stored in the cars computer. No codes or trip to the dealer is needed - unless you change radios.

New steering wheels in :D feels much better being smaller and a nice thicker grip than stock.

horn and air bag wire connections were spot on with the raid hub
