Having an odd issue on my 2012 958 in which the shift lock solenoid doesn't engage at all when stepping on the brakes to select gear. So far, I replaced the multifunctional switch and main shifter of the car and no avail. At the time the problem happened, I only had a code for the multifunctional switch but that has been gone after clearing it and even replacing it. Ive checked the tcm under the passenger seat and the wiring as well and no issues. I have no psm lights, no brake warnings. The day of the problem, the shift lock solenoid was clicking by itself for almost 2 minutes straight while I was on the brakes after noticing the weird issue going on with the car. iIt finally stopped and hasn't been able to engage the mechanism since. Bypassing the mechanism puts the transmission in limp. Also can't scan tcm. again I have no codes for tcm unless I willingly unplug it. With it staying plugged in, obd can't see it and strongly, no codes for it not responding.  The video link below is exactly what I'm going through if it helps give better insight incase I'm not explaining it properly. Help is appreciated. Thanks! Even willing to reward.
