Hi Porsche Lovers,

I have Cayenne Base 2006 model. I didnt drive the vehicle for 6 weeks and battery is completely dead. When I manually opened the door with the key (since key fob is not working), it triggered the alarm. I put the key in Ignition and key is not coming out and stuck in ignition.

As soon as I start charging the battery, alarm starts so I am afraid for even jump starting. Since its parked on the street, it attracts many eyes from neighbors as soon as everyone hears the alarm.

I spoke to dealer and they said try to jump start but they said if that doesnt work then I need to drain the battery again and then have it towed over.

Anyone has any recommendation? I appreciate it.

Low battery output can cause the type of alarm problems you are describing.  If the car was in my shop, I would load test both batteries and replace them as required.  I would also do voltage drop tests across the primary battery cables for both batteries; cable condition is critical to the battery getting charged correctly and cause all sorts of weird electrical issues.

Thanks for helping I appreciate it. Is there any fuse which I can pull off for disable theft alarm? or anyway to disable theft alarm.

Alarm systems are designed to not be easy to disconnect for obvious reasons.  Get the batteries replaced and you will be back in business.
