2012 CAYENNE HYBRID P0030 DTC

I just recently bought a 2012 Porsche Cayenne Hybrid with 140,000 miles. Vehicle has not been driven for last two years.

CEL is on, and is code p0030. Anybody have some advice for me? Is this an easy and cheap fix?

Is this possibly a code that will clear itself after some use?

Code should be an O2 sensor problem, you should get the car scanned with a Porsche specific scan tool like the PIWIS system to get additional information as there are multiple sensors.

@JFP in PA Thanks for the tip. Any other things on this vehicle I should look into or other trouble areas?

A good scan with the PIWIS will look at everything electronically, otherwise the usual maintenance suspects (oil, air and oil filters, brake fluid flush, etc.).

I was able to replace the bank 1 upstream oxygen sensor and that solved the issue.
