Just finished installing my new PCCM+ in my 996. Without the MOST and m680 amplifier it was very straightforward. Spent more time on cosmetics than the install. I’m going down the path to a back up camera and doing a “provisional” installation till I figure out the last 1” of the process and hooking it up to the PCCM+. So far I’ve mounted the camera and run the RCA cable forward through the cabin and left +/-/trigger wires bundled behind the rear port side light module. I’ve poked around on the site and what I’ve found wasn’t apparently representative of my unit. To be clear I have no surplus Fakra connection on the back of the PCCM+ and only a 6 pin socket to work with to get the rca cable attached (there appears to be 4 pins out of 6 related to camera operation). Right now this socket is unused and open. So I’m asking:

1. Regardless of how many pins I use, (my thought is one) who has a source for this modular connector?
2. Is the PCCM+ a 1080pixel AHD or 720 CVBS? this will influence a wire to be cut behind the bumper.

3. Anybody else been down this road with recent USA version install?
