I current own a 2009 cayenne, 3.0L diesel turbo.

After alot of time and money spent on local mobile mechanics, I'm still sitting where i started weeks ago.

Vehicle won't start.

Removed ELV and had both solenoids replaced with aftermarket new ones.

Still have same issue.

This is the most recent read by a scan tool. One that couldn't be read previously but not sure if that was due to incorrect scan tool. 3 people have tried so far. Recent read out has shown the most.

Please see attached

O288 &

0185 codes showing

Any information from persons with same previous issues would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have the same problem on my porsche cayenne 4.8 turbo 2008. Tried an emulator but no good. Then a used column but couldn't reprogramme. Stuck now.. Could be motor on the steering lock mechanism. Will have to put old column back and try and fix the actual steering locking mechanism. I have asked Tom if he can fix it...
