Hi everyone. My 2006 Boxster S threw a CEL. Code was p2235 which corresponds to Oxygen Sensor Bank2, Sensor 1, "signal circuit shorted to heater".

I replaced the O2 sensor with OEM, andI cleared the CEL code, but the CEL keeps returning each time I drive the car.  I double checked the connectors and all wires. Everything looks intact.  Any ideas what to do next?

The short may not be in the sensors, it may be furnther up the harness, which will require diagnosing the harness with digital multi meter looking for where the short may be located.

Thank you, much appreciated. Is there a schematic of the wiring harness available?  I got lost trying to follow the wires.

There are a couple of sources such as the Bentley manual for the car.  We cannot reproduce them here because they are the intellectual property of PCNA.
