I'm getting ready to replace the chain tensioners and chain guides on my 2000 2.7 Boxster.  I believe it has skipped a tooth on one of the cams as the deviation is reading -21 deg when hooked up to my Duremetric software.  I have the PN's for the guides but I need the PN's for the chain tensioners.  From what I understand there several that most likely need replacement and some that we really don't need to replace.  Which ones are they and what are the PN's?

There are three of them, and they are not all the same, and they have been updated and superseded multiple times.  Your best bet is to contact board sponsor Sunset Porsche, and give them your VIN number, and they can tell you which ones are the latest and greatest for your particular car.
