New rear spoiler-now dash light is on...

Well I just added a new rear spoiler, but now the dash light is on. Does anyone have a suggestion how to turn it off? I swapped out the whole rear deckild with the new one, still have the wiring harness to the fan and light, but not the motor for the factory spoiler because the new one does not move.

This has been covered here before (sorry I don't remember when). Do a search on this topic since I remember the thread discussed the remedy for the situation.

You need the correct wiring harness, loren had a thread on it, as I did, it's a 5 min job, cost 50-100$ depending on which harness you need (w or w/o spoiler 3rd brake light). If you look up my threads around sept it should pop up.
