I've got a US body with a European drivetrain. The swap was done by a PO after the original body was totalled.
I'm located in Europe.

Previous owner kept the control units and simply removed the CEL-bulb. I would like to have it working for obvious reasons.

Is there a way to use my Piwis II to fix this so that the programming matches what's in the car?

Thanks for responding. The body is 98 and the drivetrain 97. Are the codes accessible from within Piwis II?

Update:
I've found out I need to contact the dealer for the codes. I doubt they'll be very helpful considering this is a service they charge quite a lot for.

I also found that the VIN in the windscreen does not match the VIN read by PIWIS (the car is legal)  I guess I may end up in trouble if I change things. Perhaps I should settle for removing the bulb.
