Hello all,

I sold my '99 996 awhile back and just purchased a '98 Boxster. The first time I used the roof I opened it (so the roof was up) and heard a snap. The light on the dash is on (roof not up completely). After searching the forums I figured I needed to pop off the other arms so I can move the top down and see whats happening. I managed to crawl inside reach inside and get the other arms off and now I can open the rear deck lid (roof is still up). I noticed I snapped the ball end of the drivers side push rod. I also noticed I do not have a passenger side push rod nor the bolt that is attached to the lever. Its not there at all. I do have the deck lid rods which I popped off. I tried to open the top manually but it seems to get stuck about half way and I dont want to force it. I replaced the ball socket on the snapped push rod. I can attach the push rod, but I wont be able to attach the deck lid rods without putting the top down. I read NOT to touch the power top buttons unless all the rods are connected. What do I do now to get the top working again? (I know i need the other side pushrod but I'll get that once I get the top working so I can open it fully for easier access).

Thanks!

Zak
