Jeff, we are looking to replace the glass bezel face the covers the fuel gage in our 98 986... I was detailing the car and the instrument cluster was fully removed for good measure, but a household object and a cat  interfered with it and this part of the glass is snapped. WONDERFUL :(

I read in the thread below that there might be hope. I already removed the bezel with a utility knife (may or may not have been the best thing but the cut is clean and will glue fine)

Where do i get a cut piece of clear plastic for replacement?

I borrowed your pic ... this is exactly what we're talking about here...

Thanks

Rob

Neither Porsche or VDO sells parts for the cluster except light bulbs and the 2 knobs you twist to change settings.

You might contact Dale and see if he want to get rid of the parts he is not using for his turboster instrument cluster experiment.

Or, just find a plastic supply place with thin clear plastic. If you were in California I would suggest TAP Plastics and they would even cut a new lense to the exact same size if they have the old piece to use as a pattern. You might also try a speedometer shop. Jeff
