On a 99 C4 6 speed narrow body 996, will the following wheel size fit?

Fronts : 18 X 8 with 50mm offsets.

Rears : 18 X 11 with 63mm offsets.

I do not want to roll the fenders.

Porsche Club Tech expert states the following.

The maximum size is different from the correct size. Experts do not recommend the maximum size for Street 996, but for reference, This is what they use on the Carrera Cup cars, 9" front, 11" rear.

The street GT3 uses 8.5" and 11", which they also do not recommend for your car.

The correct size for your car is 8" front and 10" rear, those are the optional ones from Porsche. The offsets would be 50 to 52mm front, and 65mm rear.

17in Wheels where stock that year and 18in were an option. Personally I would only go with the sizes Porsche recommends.

There is a TSB on this if you sent me an email I can get you a copy.

I uses the TechArt Formula 10.5" rear and it works fine, I even have tried 996TT Turbo II rims 11" rear without problem, it comes down to the offsets though and for the Turbo II with ET45 is way to less IMO for the narrow body.

I would suggest with the mentioned combo put a pair of 15mm spacers should do the trick.
