Hi, I'm looking for the brake pads sensor jumper plugs referenced in an 03/03 TSB for the GT3:

http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?a...ownloadv&id=604

The part number is 964 612 026 70 (jumper plug)

I called two different dealerships and they say they can't order that part.

I also called Porsche Motorsports and they reminded me they don't order parts for lowly street cars. :)

So I'm wondering where can I find this part???

Thanks!

Just cut off you old sensors an inch above the connector and twist the ends of the wires together, solder and shrink wrap.

All the rest of those parts on the that list ("Brake Pads for Racing Circuit Use") are Porsche Motorsports part numbers. Sorry...

I know, I know. It's a new (to me) car and I'm being really OCD. I plan to spend next weekend removing cosmoline. Give me a few months and I'll pull out the scissors and soldering iron.

Loren, does that mean because it's a motorsport part I can't get it?

"Motorsport Parts" are sometimes orderable through your dealer (I've gotten 'motorsport/cup car' parts like GT3 air scoops, spoilers, etc from my dealer), and sometimes not. If the dealer can't get them, call a race shop like The Racer's Group (707) 935.3999 or Devek (650) 369.3383.

Craig, thank you! Devek ordered them for me.

It's a very unnecessary, silly, thing but now that I know they exist, I want them! Only $8.50, by the way.
